Prime Manitoba Bear Hunting
Our bear hunting area (exclusive outfitter) covers most of the Southeast corner of Manitoba, Canada. Boreal forest, swamp, farmland, rivers and creeks make up this area. The area boasts a ton of huge black bear and is where the Sandilands Provincial Forest borders rich farm land producing ideal area for bears to grow BIG and have lots of cover.
At DOA, we work extremely hard to ensure you a hunt of a lifetime. Every bait is baited over a month in advance to ensure activity. We don't "cheap out". We use the best bait possible to get the big bears. Every bait has a trail camera to monitor activity and a 2 man ladder stand. We have all the equipment to get you to and from the baits. ATVs, 4-Seater Razer, Argo with tracks and 4x4 vehicles. At DOA, we leave nothing to chance. We work hard to ensure you see bears...and lots of them!
"Darryl and Dillon run an excellent bear camp. Their dedication and hard work shows in the quality and quantity of bears. After being at numerous other camps I saw and killed my biggest bear. The bait site and stand locations were ideal. The lodging and meals were first class. Anything you needed Darryl made sure you had it. DOA outfitters is a first class operation and I will be back."
A Typical Day
A typical starts with a later rise with a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you may go with your guide to replenish baits and check cameras or just hang around camp. Once done, we head back to camp to relax before we go out for a hunt around 2pm. Either a ladder stand or ground blind will be used. You will be able to keep in contact with your guide via cell or 2 way radio contact for when you harvest your trophy. Then your trophy bear will be professionally taken care of!
Guests stay at Dylan's camp in Southeast Manitoba during their 5 day bear hunt. Delicious food and soft drinks/juices are included as well as excellent drinking water. You can enjoy soft, comfortable bedding and pillows as well as clean facilities with shower towels and face clothes. We strive to make sure all of our guests are comfortable for the duration of their stay!
Note: A brand new lodge is in the works for 2022!
